Pros

It's a great cause and a once-wonderful organization

Cons

Lack of respect from management; new executive director is very "corporate" and cares little about what those in the trenches know/think/hear from the families PACER helps. Salaries are (too) high at the top but those who work to help families struggle on the low salaries that subsidize management salaries and perks.

Pros

The vacation, sick, and personal time policy is generous. The employees are deeply committed to the organization's mission.

Cons

Many employees are underpaid unless they have personal connections within the organization. The Advocacy department faces significant employee retention issues due to micromanagement, control issues, and inequities. Growth opportunities are minimal to nonexistent, with favoritism playing a significant role in advancement. The executive director is attempting to run the organization like a large corporation, despite it being a small non-profit. She will portray a much different side -There is smoke and mirrors! This approach is eroding the organization's once-strong reputation and success. There's a significant lack of transparency. No room for professional growth.
