Pros

It offers a competitive salary and standard market benefits. Salary payments are credited in time always. It’s a small environment that promotes global integration and facilitates new members to understand the structure. A significant amount of investor cash is raised regularly which grants the company all resources needed to grow and succeed. There a lot of job openings and it is not very disputed.

Cons

The CEO and Brazil’s Leader are constantly harassing people, and always exposing team members by heavily attacking people during meetings and group chats. They enjoy an audience. People having burnouts and mental health issues happen regularly… and they get fired for that. Bonus compensations are supposed to be based on result achievements, although in reality it’s measured in a subjective manner. No clear goals and metrics are previously discussed and agreed between leadership and employee, and by the end of the period, the measurement of the achievements is purely a subject of the CEO mood. The whole company is extremely disorganized by design. All formal procedures are merely there to be shown to auditors. Everything goes through the CEO desk, literally… and don’t expect logical decision making. Team members are forced to work 24-7, and it's mandatory to be at microsoft teams available to immediately respond to messages and take actions regardless if it’s during a weekend, or midnight, Christmas eve, vacation… or even if you’re driving a car (yes, text and drive is a requirement). New ideas and talks about the company problems and improving points are welcome… as long as the top leadership likes what you’re saying… otherwise you should expect being heavily attacked in front of the whole team. Denial is a sport, just take a look at the few responses the company gave to some reviews here in Glassdoor.

Pros

Decent pay although it doesn't feel that way in an expensive area. Easy to feel busy and productive everyday.

Cons

Horrible work environment promoted by management. Promotions and disciplinary intervention are solely dependent on favoritism. Employee performance does not determine their treatment. Individuals who are vindictive, lazy, or incompetent can get away with it. Management was out of touch and rarely witnessed actual lab and field operations. This resulted in poor communication about rules which were usually only invoked to retaliate. Harassment was also prevalent. General demeaning comments about women as a class, sexual comments about appearances, blatant staring, and persistent asking out by coworkers made coming to work extra miserable.
