      Pros

      I would estimate starting pay would start $25-30/hr. Benefits start from day one. Management and Leads are easy to get along with.

      Cons

      Work can get messy. This is a petroleum coke plant after all. You will sweat, do rounds, and operate heavy machinery. It is super fun

      Everyone was very helpful in introducing me to the chemical industry. I also got to learn and work with different departments.

      Cons

      The intern position didn’t offer benefits. That was the only con in my opinion.
