Pros

Had a chance to meet some great people. "Some" being the optimal word.

Cons

1. Toxic company culture. 2. Compensation - Half of what they promised you. During my interview, I was promised a lot, but that was far from the reality. 3. This company is going backwards. 35% of employees have either left or been let go. 4. Has turned into a micro-managed call center. 5. You will have to work weekends, and late into the night for little compensation. Saturday shifts are mandatory. 6. Leadership has no sense of direction or grasp on how unhappy employees are (most current employees are interviewing elsewhere). 7. Sales team will hire just about anyone. Not a prestigious or desirable job whatsoever. Regret taking it. 8. Promotions make zero sense. 9. Inbound leads are virtually nonexistent. Promised 8-10 a day, left with 1 or 2. 10. You can and will be fired on a dime for simply voicing an opinion. 11. Employees are constantly walking on eggshells. No job security. 12. After a massive layoff, CEO boasted about how much money the company had. Tone deaf. 13. This place has traumatized many employees leading to moderate to severe mental health problems. Do yourself a favor, close the application and start your search again.

Pros

Great team that works together for a common mission of making sure nobody overpays on their mortgage. We are able to educate and empower the typical homebuyer to shop their mortgage options and take advantage of an incredible lender network. Our VP of Sales works very hard to onboard lenders throughout the US to make sure we are best priced and able to deliver on our mission. The whole team is always focused on improving their efficiency and helping more clients.

Cons

Real estate market is challenging with the current rising rate environment and a shortage of inventory in the market. But it allows you to get creative and adapt to sharpen your skills.
