Pros
- family oriented - pays for your school - strong oracle database team - company parties - great managers, lots of role models in management
Cons
- pay is not competitive - all of the good developers have left or leave soon after getting there - having nobody smart around you demotivates you from learning or improving - IT is being outsourced, so programmers are left doing menial tasks supporting outdated, crappy systems - every time you ask for a salary bump, they give you an excuse about wage freezes - most new development tasks are not challenging, providing lots of time for you to make paper airplanes and testing them out in the parking lot
