Pros

The company has always been remote-first, i.e. all processes and workflows are optimised for remote teams. This is quite obvious as soon as you join; remote is not an afterthought. A good work-life balance. Things have been challenging as the company has been growing and scaling up (hiring a lot), but not at the expense of our own personal lives. Leadership is approachable, passionate about the problem space, and definitely focused on making the end-user happy. If you're too, then you'll enjoy working at Overleaf. Finally, the company's mission definitely makes it very easy to feel good about the work you're doing.

Cons

Can't think of anything as a definitive con. The company has been scaling and there are some growing pains, but those have been acknowledge and are being actively worked on (by hiring more, where appropriate, and improving processes to the larger scale we operate in right now).

Pros

Very limited pros I can think of

Cons

DEI is often talked about but never actually implemented. Very big culture of micro-management. Not the right environment for anyone to thrive, especially not someone of color.
