Pros

no micromanaget, but also no managment

Cons

This was great company at first, but it has turned slowly into a horrible place. There is zero comunication, they give the better and easier work to the new hires, no end in sight to change from being a contractor to full time, even though it was said we could, I could go on and on. You cant expect to speak to your employees 1 time a quarter and expect them to be happy. I go MONTHS without any feedback from anyone. they change policies and procedures and dont tell anyone! Even when asked. - newsflash the changes you are making are not communicated well. Your employees are unhappy and you dont care.

Pros

* My team, including my manager, is amazing. I feel supported, trusted, and truly feel like I'm doing some of my best work. My manager is respectful, caring, and quick to sing praises of the team. * I'm proud of the work we do. I really feel like Overalls helps people in a meaningful way, and I'm so happy to be able to contribute to that. I've had jobs in the past where I was downright embarrassed of the product we were selling. That's not the case here. * I like the smaller startup vibe. It might not be for everyone, but I personally thrive in smaller startups where things are still a little more fluid and I have an opportunity for bigger impact. I feel like I'm helping to build the company instead of just a tiny cog in a bigger money-printing machine (that's how my previous job felt). * Unlimited PTO. I know some people think of this as a red flag, but it's been really nice. I've never had an issue scheduling time off for vacation or just taking a day or two if I'm not feeling well.

Cons

* I'm making a lot less than I did at previous (bigger) companies, but the salary is understandable for the size of the company.

Pros

The company is still small (around 20 people), which makes collaboration easy and meaningful across teams. Everyone is strong at what they do and consistently willing to go the extra mile to support coworkers, regardless of role. Leadership is approachable and genuinely encourages feedback, open conversation, and new ideas. Our product is used by a wide range of people and is genuinely helping them, and it’s very rewarding to regularly hear that feedback directly from users.

Cons

As a growing company, some processes are still evolving, which can occasionally mean ambiguity or shifting priorities. This comes with the territory of a smaller team. I enjoy it, personally.
