Nice management - Barista Ovenly Employee Review

During my time at Ovenly, I had the opportunity to think creatively and collaborate with other employees to build programs that are still instrumental to the organization today. I enjoyed being a part of a growing operation that offered me the resources and support to make an impact.

While I enjoyed the opportunities that came with working for a growing company, this environment also had its challenges. At times, I had to fill different roles that fell outside of my job description because our administrative team was so lean.

quality went significantly down (freezing pre-cooked cookies) management would send in friends from their personal life to "test" employees at one point they gave 60% of their employees a one or two day notice that they were getting laid off. i didn't get laid off but it was a shameful choice on managements part, if you know the company's going to close multiple locations ahead of time, you should let your employees who rely on this job know in advance so they can get a new stream of income. barely any diversity.
