Pros

It was close to home and most of the employees were very friendly and helpful. The manager at the time was willing to give you the schedule needed. As a new employee I appreciated sundays off.

Cons

One of the owners was a bit standoffish, she never said anything to the employees and ignored us constantly. They don't offer the standard 15 minute break time just a state mandated 30 minute lunch for full time employees. There was a lack of supplies to successfully complete your task. The pay was very low considering the wholesome, sustainable image they are going for. Employees weren't able to live on the meager wages, thats why even though the company is a few years old the oldest current employee has only been there 7 months. Also overtime was automatic...you would be given more work than possible to complete in 8 hours and then it was assumed that you would be free to stay behind and complete it. Be prepared for that.

Pros

benefits were nice (PTO) good menu

Cons

quality went significantly down (freezing pre-cooked cookies) management would send in friends from their personal life to "test" employees at one point they gave 60% of their employees a one or two day notice that they were getting laid off. i didn't get laid off but it was a shameful choice on managements part, if you know the company's going to close multiple locations ahead of time, you should let your employees who rely on this job know in advance so they can get a new stream of income. barely any diversity.
