Pros

1. If your cheap and over qualified, you'll get hired! 2. You may make up your time as long as you work 40 hours within the week you came in late or left early. 3. Great for recent grads, stay for 1 year experience and then run, run run! 4. They tell you the truth when they say "you are replaceable".

Cons

1. Hire-ups want a seamless work flow but use old standards of thinking and technology which in turn use up company time which then turns into you working late, not to mention all the wasteful resource that is being consume on a daily base such as paper, ink and your weekend time. 2. You will probably be 10 to 20k underpaid if you come from another company and have been in the industry for 7+ years. 3.The company has merged with investment company which leave little interest for your professional PATHETIC salary growth. 4. No maternity leave in an industry that employees many women, something to ponder about.....sigh 5. If you are the very few that due leave for maternity leave, depending who you're manager is, you may work from home and get paid your normal salary...shhh don't tell this to everyone. One again selective few, but according to HR everyone has the same standards. 6. The 19th floor seems to have it the worse, you have 2 bathroom stalls for 25-30 women, the bathroom always stinks since the ventilation never seems to be working. The men on the other hand have 2 urinals and 3 bathroom stalls. The catch to this is that there is an additional bathroom by the entrance that certain individual use, once again only managers and if you're close to the manager you may use it too. One again selective few, but according to HR everyone has the same standards. 7. The kitchen sink, yea the one you use to wash your dishes backs up dirty sewage water every 20 minutes from the top and bottom of the sink, where in return leaves this sewage stench smell for everyone to enjoy during lunch hours and every hour you walk into the kitchen. 8. If the microwaves breaks, please note you will be spending money to go out and eat since the microwaves won't be replaced for at least 4 to 6 months. During this time try to eat as much as you can before you leave your house. 9. The AC is usually down during the summer and the office room temperature usually reaches high 80's, talk about working in a sweatshop. 10. You are salary but must meet the quota 40 hours, wait...does that mean I'm hourly. The grey line is very grey in this company. 11. You won't get a raise unless you ask for one and this comes with self evaluation papers. Your manager may also ask for your raise every year while other departments may not get a raise at all. Some people get raises every year and other don't,even if you'd worked late for an entire year, don't believe the hype when they say it will look good in your review. The raise situation is very flaky in this company. 12. The work WILL get boring very quickly due to the repetitive work flow. 13. Healthcare coverage will run you close to $200.00 per week for family and about $100.00 per single person. Dental is extra. 14. This industry is getting very pathetic by the minute, the majority of the work for this company goes to India and at one point they started giving thought on having India design graphics for them but every time they tried, the graphics they received back wasn't up to design standard, so it didn't work out.
