I have no cons besides pay

Working as a raft guide is a rewarding experience that offers a lot of social networking, customer service skills and general strength training. Guide training is a tough experience but offers a rewarding outcome. Senior guides often describe training as "The greatest time you never want to have again". This company in particular not only teaches the Ocoee river but teaches whitewater in general. Raft guiding will push you beyond your limits and you will learn a lot, not only about the industry, but learn and grow as a person.

Pay. If you're looking for a high paying career look elsewhere.
