Pros
Work remotely, set your own schedule, you can make some money here but it is luck of the draw, charts can be 5 pages or 100 pages and the pay is the same.
Cons
Pay is per chart (some exceed 100 pages) and very low. Communication is terrible, they tell you about changes in procedure, etc. AFTER it is implemented. Auditors (who are double checking your work for accuracy), tell you you did something wrong and you have to fight to prove you in fact were correct and get your QA scores changed (did this MANY times). They want you to promise at least 20 hrs a week availability, but make no promises to you to provide work. Human resources never answers calls or emails, and if you can get someone on the phone by working around the operator, they lie and give you the run around. Oh and benefits? Ha Ha! What are those?
