During my time at Ounass, I had the opportunity to work on multiple high impact projects: - implicit ratings recommendation systems based on Word2Vec and LSTM - setting up a data quality measurement framework - standardizing the planning and analysis of A/B tests with a framework i developed on AWS - building a model for early detection of potentially churning customers and intervening early to retain them - fit-size prediction Management is really forward looking and the culture is chill.
Cons
- some product managers were not data savvy and did not contribute much to strategy or to product discovery making the data team's life harder - software engineering and data management were not standardized which created bottlenecks for scaling - career progression was not clear
