Well educated employees to interact with
Cons
6months bedding in period before you get to know if you’ve made it
No flexible working
Strict policies on their employees
The worst thing at ORMS however:
They have an insane indoctrination about their woke policies. Mental health this inclusion that. It’s all utter rubbish. Because they do not practice what they preach, the biggest being the mind games middle management play with their employees. For example the interviewer not welcoming you to the company on your first day but ignoring you not acknowledging your existence. Or being hot and cold with their bahviour. I would prefer working from home, a laptop, more than statutory (20) holidays and better pay. I moved office from Orms and had a 5k pay increase, 5 days more holiday, wfh straight away and a laptop to work flexibly from. I’m much happier, even though by design standards my new employer would seem beneath the likes of Orms, they’re a much happier group of people to work with. Go to Orms only if you have no other options.
