poor management. the organizational structure is questionable. Orion kept trying to acquire other companies to grow. However, the culture, infrastructure, and managerial approach are outdated. As a result, you see huge turnover rates. Orion is a company within a company. Good luck getting anything done with the internal politics going on. Unprofessional HR and Recruiting will try to muddle with your professional development. Your manager won't have any hand in your career growth. Company is somehow ran by the HR. Orion is a staff aug consulting company. That brand or image will never change regardless of how many rounds of rebrand they go through. What that means is that your clients will not consider you as partners. They will bully you until you feel crappy about yourself. unfortunately I see some unethical practices across the company as well and it is quite alarming. For example, Orion posted a blog about success at a wealth management company for a large transformation. That is total BS since I was a member of that project and we did not achieve much at all. How can the blog claim Orion successfully finished the transformation when in fact Orion only started the journey for few months? Unfortunately if you are not indian, you won't have any growth with this company. The culture is quite toxic. Your indian colleagues will speak their own language on calls which makes you wonder how is this even a proper work culture.
