Pros
Good performing company with lots of opportunities, both here and globally. Growing despite the slow economy. Orica has a good culture, particularly around safety. The pace of change is quick and this creates lots of opportunites to advance. It is always good to work for a global market leader.
Cons
The mining industry is fairly conservative and Orica reflects this, meaning that it is not as entrenpenuerial as it could be. Historically there has been a real old boys club in the US business. This is being broken down however a lot these "old boys" create a lot of negative sentiment.
