Pros

Super mission-driven organization. The magazine most effectively reflects that mission. With a fantastic editor and submissions from some of the most compelling writers in the state. They also partner with statewide nonprofits and philanthropies to ensure the well-being of civic organizations throughout the state.

Cons

Though this has probably changed, the management structure was challenging. Staff, Director and Board were not always on the same page.

Pros

Having worked elsewhere since OH, I have come to realize just how well-organized and well-run the organization is. There are effective processes and structures in place that keep things running smoothly, which is a rare thing to find. One of my favorite things about OH is how reflective the team members and programs are. The team is absolutely amazing, full of compassionate, intelligent, and caring people. I felt highly supported and mentored by the entire team. Work-life balance was a big priority.

Cons

When I was there, the environment was very quiet.
