      Pros

      The city environment is pretty good. People are chill, a lot of coffee breaks and nice discussions. PhD students are not under pressure compared to other universities. The rent is cheap in Orebro, so you can save some money as a PhD student as well :)

      Cons

      Too much vacation days/parental leave of supervisors. Sometimes they might disappear for a while, so be prepared to do research by your own.

      Pros

      Good environment. The city is perfect for research, very calm and relaxing. The uni has good facilities and offices. Work-life balance is very good.

      Cons

      Sweden have many benefits for employees, this can be bad if you depend on others, because there is a high chance they are most of the time on parental leave. Most of the time there is no career plan, so make sure you have your own plans after the PhD or PostDoc.
