Pros

Flexible and remote working is a plus. No micromanaging.

Cons

The workload is demanding, with many roles requiring 55-60 hours a week or more. Those with a job offer should negotiate a higher salary. It may seem friendly and positive at first, but the culture is often cliquey and can become toxic quickly. Management, particularly product and project managers, tend to be inexperienced and lack knowledge. There also appears to be a staff retention issue, with many employees staying for about a year before moving on

Pros

The company is remote and full flexi - meaning you have the autonomy to work when is best for you and are trusted to do so. Orderly's core mission is to make a positive impact on the world, so working here feels like making a difference - validated by their B Corp certification too. Feedback is welcomed from anyone at any time. The company is not interested in red tape, but wants to constantly improve and encourages the team to suggest ways to achieve this. Voices can be heard. There's an intelligent, diligent, collaborative and innovative team who love working together and have achieved amazing things over the past few years. Excited to see what they'll do next.

Cons

It's a scale up environment so there's room for improvements as the company matures into scalable processes. Orderly is a work in progress and feedback and voices are listened to - so it's continually changing and improving. The company isn't large enough to spend a lot of time hand holding, there's an expectation that if you're hired into your role - you are an expert and a self starter who can immediately get stuck in and find ways to add value. There's lots of opportunity for those with initiative who are creating a positive impact. It's not for everyone but the type of person who thrives at Orderly enjoys fast paced environments, is self driven, adaptable, wants to make a difference and holds resilience.
