The people, made some friends for life. Good job really as in a very toxic environment these are the people that support you through it and actually care.
Cons
Oracle went form being the company everyone wanted to work for to the company that everyone couldn't wait to get away from! Having worked there for 10 years, the first 5 were brilliant, had a job that i couldn't say a bad word about. Everyone got on so well and everyone worked hard to achieve and smash targets because they loved it. However greed from the owner and senior management took over and nothing was ever good enough. Even when we had smashed targets we were made to feel like a failure, told that it wasnt good enough and we could have worked more. It was expected that everyone would start early, work through lunches and stay late and with no thanks. The turn over of staff and middle management is like a revolving door. So many long serving employees have left the company in the last 2 years and the Owner/senior management still don't think they have a problem.
