Pros

I came from a Fortune 1000 Company with 10 years of tenure to work for FNS/ACCVT now Optiv Security because of the moves the company was making in the market. I could not be happier about my decision to join this great company. Since day one, I have been made to feel like I am part of a team and part of a company that cares about each and every employee. I also feel like the company and Management is interested in developing me as well as each individual into their full potential and helping me meet all of my career aspirations. Optiv is at the cutting edge of the industry and I am glad to be part of this movement. Also, since I have been with the company I have referred two separate people and they have both been hired. This is a company worth recommending your highest qualified connections to.

Cons

The only con that I have experienced is due to one of the Pros. Our manager was promoted and took another job within the company so we have been without a manager. This has actually turned out to be a pro because different members on the team have had opportunities to step into leadership roles within the team. Also, this shows that Optiv is a company that likes to cultivate and develop leaders and likes to promote their employees.

Pros

Unlimited PTO Supportive Management Depending on who you get Good work life balance as long as you don't take the job with you after hours Work from Home Hands on Training - could still use improvement Annual pay increase

Cons

2 layoffs in a year when they keps saying everything was fine.... Laying off core contributors so now everyone who is left is doing the work of 2-3 people and not being compensated accordingly Only way to get a worth while pay increase is to move up in the company the annual increases are not inline with inflation or cost of living
