Pros

I disagree with the prior post on marketing. The person who posted is clearly a disenfranchised and self-interested person who is not seeing the broader picture. Is marketing perfect? No. But none of the functional organizations are perfect. Marketing like all the other functions is underfunded and is trying to balance a constantly changing set of demands that the entire business is experiencing. The group has come a long way in the past two to three years. I have been here 4+ years and we have gone from having a silo'ed organization with battles and wars between the VP's to one brand direction, demand gen functions, social media and digital marketing functions, and a highly respected field marketing and events team.

Cons

Marketing is the after-thought for the company and like the other functions like HR, and Services, and Finance, needs to be funded and staffed in order to deliver the full capabilities that the company needs.

Pros

Unlimited PTO Supportive Management Depending on who you get Good work life balance as long as you don't take the job with you after hours Work from Home Hands on Training - could still use improvement Annual pay increase

Cons

2 layoffs in a year when they keps saying everything was fine.... Laying off core contributors so now everyone who is left is doing the work of 2-3 people and not being compensated accordingly Only way to get a worth while pay increase is to move up in the company the annual increases are not inline with inflation or cost of living
