Management's qualifications for running a business begin and end with their ability to sell the idea of a product.
Their complete lack of any technical knowledge combined with a deep mistrust of the majority of their employees leads them to dismiss the recommendations of the people they hire. They were almost aggressively open with how little they valued their workers. To quote the CMO and co-founder of the company, who doesn't whisper as quietly as she thinks she does, "once we have enough money, everyone is replaceable".
To top it all off, they insisted that we should have been falling all over ourselves with gratitude for the mid to low salaries they paid along with the watered down equity they offered, as if these could make up for the negative atmosphere they created.
