Whatever they tell you in the interview, IS THE OPPOSITE. The training is very limited then they throw a full patient load on you a few days after and expect you to know it all right away. They have “policies” in place but only want you to follow the ones they like. The patient load was much like the hospitals were you had to see them back to back with no real time to look up the Medications that you’re suppose to give them or lunch break in between. Patients were allowed to be late no matter how much it put you behind so you would be stuck way past your clock out time. And forget about charting, they expect you to take it home and work on it if you don’t complete it on shift. The manager is very difficult to talk to and gossips way too much about the staff. The “open door policy” means he WILL tell everyone about your issues.
