Thank you for leaving us feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to list out pros, cons, positive and negative experiences. It helps us identify which policies and processes are most important to our co-workers. Having a positive mental attitude and caring about the company are two very important assets, but SMM success is the result of building great relationships with each of our clients. Organization is a key part of that and so is making phone calls. We have recently updated the job description to be clear about job duties like phone calls, ROI discussions and reporting and we did have each employee sign that job description so that it was understood which duties are most important. The Culture Committee was a great idea that unfortunately had to take a back seat when we started losing social media managers. We do value the contributions that were made by the Culture Committee but at that time we needed to concentrate on finding good homes for our clients and accounts who had no social media manager. We are still working to implement the Culture Committee idea because we understand how important internal feedback is. We have also recently restructured so that our tenured SMMs are able to specialize in areas that will help them grow personally and professionally. We just opened up 5-10 new positions on the SMM floor and are happy to say that we hired from within for each of those. Thank you very much for your valuable feedback. We wish that OSM was a place that you wanted to stay, but we also wish you the best in all your future ventures.

Micromanaging was one of the worst parts about working here. You would get teams messages from your “supervisor” in the middle of a call, criticizing something g you said, which will throw your whole call off. They expect you to manage 50+ accounts and create a meaningful relationship with all of your clients, who in return don’t even want the product they were sold. I have so much anxiety related to working now because of this job and company. I used to answer phones all day for a past job but now I shake if I have to make a call, just expecting the person on the other end to scream at me and get reprimanded because of that. If you are looking for a job in this field, stay FAR away from this place.

Thanks for reaching out to us about your experience with OPTIMIZE. We certainly remember receiving this exact feedback many years ago, and utilized that to help adjust our processes moving forward. As many of the terms you are utilizing are referencing terminology used 3 or more years ago that we no longer utilize, we can only assume this is a repost and makes it difficult to address in current time as so much has changed, especially being that we have not added any new members to the Account Consultant team in 2024. However, we'd like to thank you for providing this feedback originally as it did help to identify areas of improvement that lead to many of those changes.
