Pros

Optimal Digital Marketing truly invests in it's employees. They provide us with resources to continue to learn and improve our skills. This in turn, helps our team to create great results for our clients. The morals and values that Optimal offers has taught me to be a better communicator in and out of the office. ODM offers flexible time during the week so you are able to prioritize yourself and family when you need to. They encourage employees to use their PTO in order to get the mental & physical break that we need in order to stay great employees. The leadership team truly cares about the team and takes all our feedback. They listen to us and make changes that we recommend as often as they can. They want to ensure that we are all happy and able to do the job we were hired to do. From the day I started to now, I feel supported and important. My role truly allows me to own my work, my calendar, and my clients with as much support as I need.

Cons

I truly don't have any cons to say. I love this company. First company I started working at out of college and I don't see myself leaving anytime soon. Just passed my 2 year anniversary about 2 weeks ago.

Pros

Optimal is the cream of the crop. 9 out of 10 agencies, in my opinion, are not worth hiring. Optimal is 1 out of 10. Everyone on the team is highly proficient at what they do. It's nice to have extremely knowledgeable team members. Moreover, there is a well-maintained work culture that is people-centric. You have an appointment? They'll accomodate. Have to drop your kids off at school every day? You can flex your time. Need to take a vacation? You won't be questioned about your leave. Just take it — reasonable planning and communication are expected. That's not a big deal, though. It's pretty standard. Want to be left to work? You aren't micromanaged. Even better when you're fully remote. The standards are high. But Optimal is the big leagues. It's the right place to level up. The education you get at Optimal is worth more than a master's degree. They have a high-quality pool of clients. There are standards and expectations for their prospects, and they don't take on anyone who doesn't seem like a good fit. Unlike other agencies, Optimal will say no.

Cons

The workload can be intense. Standards are high, but that's to be expected when you're in the big leagues. Compensation may not be as competitive for certain regions of the country.

Pros

Typical of any agency, structured to a T on their approach. Not a lot of creative wiggle room until time to reevaluate the next quarter.

Cons

Very much siloed in the beginning as you are put through their specific training and onboarding.
