Supportive team but management is out of touch - Administrator Optima Health Employee Review

Pros

The people on my team were amazing and have become my best friends, my line manager was caring and did what they could for us.

Cons

Higher up management have no clue what goes on within the administration teams. Work ethic within the teams is so low and this is never looked at by SLT. They are asking people to leave good reviews as their Glassdoor score is so low. These are all fake and curated by HR. There is no incentive or reward system for hard work. Promotions and pay rises are non existent. There is a very clear division between SLT and the Administration teams. They send out surveys each month on how people feel about the company and what can be improved however the scores for these are always appalling and nothing is looked at to be improved. For the sake of your mental health do not work here.

Thank you for your feedback, we are really pleased to hear that you enjoyed being a part of a team and that you felt supported by your manager. We appreciate all feedback as it gives us an opportunity to reflect, learn and improve the environments we have for our employees. Like all employers, we will offer initiatives and benefits that some appreciate and some do not value. That said, we do feel its important to ensure information is accurate. Optima Health does offer recognition schemes and Long Service awards which offer cash awards and celebration dinner events. We do offer opportunities for promotion and the ability to apply for roles across different areas of the business. We also offer hybrid working and have recently improved our benefits and implemented a Benefits Platform which really means benefits can work in the way that is best for each individual. Optima Health does carry out pay reviews which are performance based, we also align with the Real Living Wage and have a published Clinical Framework. We do however recognise areas where we need to improve, this includes increasing communication and we have reset our pulse surveying with an update on progress going out soon. We also know that our managers need to be supported in the workplace and have implemented initiatives to help in this area too.
