Pros
From the second I interviewed, I knew Oppti was an incredible opportunity for me with an equally incredible community of people on its team. The people behind Oppti are some of the most kind, hardworking, organized, driven, and ambitious people I have ever worked with. Everyone at Oppti genuinely wants to see everyone on its team succeed, and will always jump at any opportunity to help anyone in need.
Oppti sees its employees as individuals with genuine talents and great ideas, and offers a refreshing amount of creative freedom and self-direction. Exploring and developing ideas is always encouraged, and there is always a group of people genuinely excited to help bring your ideas into fruition. Staff and fellow interns are friendly and welcoming, and fun/bonding is always encouraged. Oppti is one of the most supportive work environments I have ever experienced, and I am so grateful to be a part of the Oppti family.
Cons
So far I genuinely have not found anything to complain about personally in regards to my Oppti experience so far. The internship program is remote, so if you are looking for an in-person program it may not be for you, but remote work is relatively common and expected these days given current events. Oppti also encourages creative freedom and gives you control over the bulk of your schedule and internship tasks, so if you are looking for an employer that will give you a list of strict assignments with little creativity involved, Oppti may not be for you.
