Pros

If you persevere there is a chance you could make some money through equity, however burnout is more likely.

Cons

- no teamwork whatsoever - coworkers scream at you - very secretive, hardly any conversation goes on in public slack channels for example - extremely political - weird and confusing processes that no one understands. It’s very important though to appear as if you do understand them. Since no one understands them, this works - no one can really call you out on it. But it’s frustrating. Just don’t ask any questions and nod. - no 1:1 , these are just extra status meetings in the day, very redundant - NO VACATION - I only got to use the holidays. Some people seem to have made this work. By using a combination of social engineering and being a yes man, it’s possible to advance ones own career and resume. But these are not type type of people I like to work with. It’s not even healthy competition, pure politics and calculation.
