Pros

-The product vision is game-changing for the construction technology space. -The company has been built on and continues to excel in hiring high performers/perfectionists to the point that "Done is better than perfect" is a company value. -From engineering to sales and marketing, I get to work with and learn from colleagues that are at the top of their fields. There are Masters and PhDs in engineering but most importantly, at least SEVEN WIZARDS AND COUNTING (Always check the wizard to employee ratio before applying to an AI startup). -The founders are titans in the construction technology, computer vision, and machine learning spaces with successful exits under their belts but it's clear they're swinging for the fences with OpenSpace. It's also clear that they're focused on making sure that the options given to employees continue increasing in value. -I've been promoted 3 times in a little less than 3 years. Massive growth generates opportunities. -Benefits are great and the company takes remote-first seriously (great health, life, dental, orthodontal, parental leave, unlimited PTO, 401k match, company meetups multiple times a year, remote events, doordash gift cards every week, stock options).

Cons

-This type of growth trajectory is not for the faint of heart. I finally understand why everyone at a startup mentions growing pains in the cons on Glassdoor. -Maintaining the culture and doing well at scaling takes real effort when the company size 10x's in less than three years. -The HQ office doesn't have a ping pong table.

There are some trade-offs with a startup like marketing budget limitations.
