Pros
Everyone is really good at doing their part to get jobs and projects done, and upper management recognizes hard work and often gives credit where credit is due. Annual performance reviews help improve both employees and upper management and show what they need to work on to reach their goals. Management is also very open and welcome feedback and opinions. Excellent work-life balance. Hours are pretty flexible as long as your part is done and projects are completed in a timely manner. Management definitely cares and understands that we all have our personal life to take care of and is very flexible. Working remotely definitely has lots of benefits and has become a big part of my life. I love the summer bbqs and holiday parties where we all get together and meet the new employees and catch up with coworkers we haven't seen in months.
Cons
Every company has it's cons... sometimes an overload in work, or not looping in key people who provide valuable insight on situations, or not having a dedicated sales person to manage leads, or some inevitable cons like problems resolving issues due to having to work with third party vendors or clients who are hard to handle. Being a smaller company, there is no definite process to do certain things which sometimes can be good or bad depending on the situation. However, most issues usually get resolved quickly with weekly and monthly meetings and everyone doing their part as best they can.
