Pros

It's a nice place to work.. meaning that the office is cool and well furnished. There are few guys really passionate about their job.

Cons

The business model isn't clear: they're trying to combine the skills of an adv agency and a consultancy firm. At the end of the day they are an unstructured consultancy firm with low (in quality and quantity) execution abilities. The workload is totally inefficient, it is quite common to work during nights, without any extra. There wasn't a very clear personal development roadmap and very low career opportunities. Despite their apparently flat organizational structure, it's quite hard for employees to get listened to: top management doesn't listen to them and they aren't transparent nor clear at all about income, reward and objectives. More than 10 people (1/3rd) left during last year mainly for uneffective management and total absence of reward for employees (not just from an economical point of view: I'm talking about recognition too). Professionally speaking, it was the biggest dream I ever had. It was.

Pros

People (colleagues) and employees make the working environment friendly and familiar. Great working spaces due to the partnership with Lago Arredamenti: really nice furniture! Brand positioning also due to the Social Business Forum organized in the past 6 years.

Cons

The classic motto: "Do as I Say (Not as I Do)" perfectly applies to OpenKnowledge working situation. Lack of strategy, poor leadership, there is no focus and orientation on the mission and the vision of the society. Over 10 people (50% of the company) amongst the most talented person in Italy run away from the company in less than 1 year. Lack of competencies and small focus on people career opportunities and growth: there is no learning path and no opportunities to develop your talent. No international vision: the 4 branches are just a name on the website and the focus on innovative themes and topics has been lost and replaced in the last year with each kind of project.
