While compensation benchmarking software might not sound that exciting, what the product empowers companies to do is. OpenComp's solution allows companies to have transparent, data-based conversations with employees around compensation, ultimately driving fair-pay practices within organizations that use the solution. Leadership is committed to maintaining an agile and nimble team that can be flexible to the changing priorities that often come with working for a start-up. They communicate those changes openly and transparently, and ensure that even with rapid growth each employee feels connected to the mission. The social impact arm of OpenComp, OPEN Imperative, is focused on gender pay-equity and moving companies beyond lip service and good intentions to actual practices that aim to close the gender pay gap.
Cons
As a start-up there are some processes that are not yet in place and some functional disciplines that still need to be formed, but the flip side of that is that as an early employee you get to help shape all of those things.
