Pros
- Great environment, just really supportive. - Great culture, everybody wants to you to do well, so you don't have to worry about jealous colleagues like most other call centres. - Totally professional environment, very little gossiping and backstabbing. - Total meritocracy: hard work truly does pay off. - Company truly cares about its student, which is reflected by the high quality courses offered by OC. - Selling solutions, NOT a dream. - Excellent incentives for those brave enough to meet their sales target. - Management is open minded, willing to learn, but most of all, they are PASSIONATE about their student's education. - Each representative is provided with a list of highly receptive contacts, so that they can take their time getting each one enrolled in the most appropriate course.
Cons
- Personally, I feel that the companies strict ethical guidelines are a tad bit too stringent and place too many constraints on the sales team, but this is understandable given that it is Australia's largest private online college.
