Pros

Extremely flexible environment, with amazing opportunities for growth. We're a recognized leader in the DFW Metroplex on cutting edge digital marketing. Our agency has been invited to Google HQ for their top 100 Performance Agencies, and we've sent some employees to Google for Bootcamp training. Leadership is willing to invest in the learning and development of the team. New hiring process emphasizes culture index over a solid paper resume. This has created an environment where the right employees are matched to their skillsets and our culture, to avoid putting round pegs in square holes. 100% paid medical and dental by the owner! (who does that these days?) Fully stocked pantry (like Google!) Flexible hours Offsite team building Autonomous employees thrive here, but leadership is available for direction as needed

Cons

There are some pretty nasty reviews from disgruntled past employees which are complete fabrications. I just wish Glassdoor would do their due diligence and not allow anonymous reviews.

Sometimes limited in their capabilities because of smaller clients' budget restraints.

Pros

I have freedom, which can sometimes be a negative as I do not always do a lot for my clients.

Cons

As a current employee I can say two things about management: they are hypocrites and crooks. Management likes to talk about, "It's not how a person acts when they're at a company, it's how they leave it" or something along those lines. Yet whenever someone has left, all they do is drag that person's name and reputation through the mud. You're doing the same thing, in essence, to that person! When all that person did was work hard for you each and every day. I feel bad for most people that have left since they have no idea of what management has said about them when they're gone. I've had multiple conversations about my paycheck with management when they've shorted me. It embarrassing to go home to try and explain to my family that I didn't make as much as I should have and there's little to nothing I can do about it. Also I have yet to receive a raise even though I work on some of our best clients. The clients haven't left, even when they've been through multiple transitions. They are also beyond thrilled with their results. When I ask during a "review" I just get beaten down verbally and degraded.
