Pros

Catered Lunches at end of month. A few helpful people around the office.

Cons

Territories changed almost on a monthly basis. Heavily Micromanaged. No Inbound opportunities. 20 meetings of almost pure outbound to hit monthly quota. Constantly rapidly changing products, goals ,and requirements. No longer salary. No room for promotion.

Pros

I’ve been with Onit a little over a year now, and overall it’s been a really positive experience. My role is challenging in the right ways. There’s a lot of opportunity to think critically, solve problems, and build things that have impact, which keeps the work interesting. I’ve also felt supported by my leadership. They trust their team and are open to new ideas, which makes a big difference for someone in my role. For a primarily remote and global organization, I appreciate the effort being made to create connection across teams. It’s not always easy to do remotely, but there are thoughtful opportunities for us to engage and collaborate beyond just the day-to-day work should we choose to participate. Another thing I value is the transparency around where Onit is going. There’s clearly been a lot of work put into employee communication, so we understand the direction of the business and how their work fits into it.

Cons

No company is perfect, but in my first year+ at Onit I’ve found it to be a place where the work is meaningful, leadership is accessible, and there’s genuine effort being made to build a strong culture.
