Pros
Good camraderie and nice President and Chief Culture Officer.
Cons
Lack of leadership in the marketing team led to client dissatisfaction and many clients leaving and hence the layoffs. A long list of clients has now disappeared completely on the website, likely because they all left. During marketing team meetings, revenue goals and client performance strategies were never discussed. At client quarterly business reviews, the team would never have a cohesive plan and random outspurts would come up during calls or client face to face presentations, based on a "VP" trying to sound smart, but never having any regular engagement with the clients. Individuals promoted as "Account Directors" didn't essentially understand ecommerce performance (for example conversion rates) or have any legitimate experience beyond being liked internally. Engineering tasks were constantly blocked or heavily backlogged on a PM's dictatotrship - preventing important site updaes to be made and embarassments to clients. Database team only listened when fires ended up happening to make any changes, and never cared about constantly failing DB files. All in all, many dysfunctional behaviors across both client facing and Engineering/product support teams brought upon the worst concotion of an "agency".
