Pros

- The team themselves are amazing - Nice office - Some fun perks

Cons

Working at Oner Active may appear to be a dream opportunity, but in reality, it was the most challenging and disheartening experience of my career. Initially, the prospect of working closely with Co-Founder Krissy Cela seemed exciting, but it quickly turned into a nightmare. The work environment is unbelievably tense, and staff are frequently subjected to verbal abuse, belittled, and overworked. It's not uncommon to be made to feel incapable of performing your role - sometimes explicitly told so. In one particularly demeaning instance, I was even asked, “Are you stupid?” This kind of treatment fosters fear, as employees brace themselves for the next outburst, creating a volatile and toxic atmosphere. Morale plummets whenever Krissy is present. Unfortunately, management appears unwilling or unable to intervene, likely due to fear of becoming her next target. Krissy's behavior is manipulative, and she often plays favorites, building some team members up only to abruptly tear them down, leaving them feeling demoralized and inadequate. These mind games, combined with an overwhelming workload and unrealistic expectations, leave employees drained, undervalued, and emotionally devastated. Krissy is not who you think she is from what she portrays on Social Media, she's all about female empowerment when in reality, tearing other women down makes her feel powerful. The lies and fabrication of her personal story is endless and concerning. It’s apparent that Krissy is aware of the negative feedback shared here. In a recent Instagram story, she attempted to justify her behavior, claiming, “I’m not a chilled person. Some people might describe me as aggressive, but I’m just blunt. It’s part of my Albanian culture; every Balkan woman I’ve met is the same, it can sound like we're arguing with you but we're just talking.” Let me be clear: being emotionally abusive and manipulative is not a cultural trait — it’s a leadership failure. Being a narcissist is not a cultural trait - it means you need help. Throughout my career I've never cried so much and been put down so many times. When I left, I was so affected by my experience that I slipped into a depression and was left feeling completely incapable of any job I was offered. It took me 8 months to recover and when I finally found a new job, I was left with PTSD and was constantly worried that I would be screamed at at any moment. If you value your mental health, I strongly advise avoiding Oner Active. The toxic environment starts at the top, and without serious change (Krissy leaving), it’s unlikely to improve.

Pros

Working at Oner Active has truly been one of the best experiences of my life. Krissy is such an inspiration — yes, she’s very demanding, but always in the best way possible, because she pushes everyone to aim for excellence and to uphold the incredible standards of the brand she’s built. During my time here, I’ve learned so much, not only professionally but also personally. I had the chance to collaborate with incredibly talented and passionate individuals across different teams. Everyone genuinely cares about each other and about the brand, and that shows in everything they do. The team away events are always so well organised, and they perfectly reflect the culture at Oner: unity, passion, and care. Applause to all the teams who work so hard, they are truly lovely people who give their best every day. A special mention goes to my manager, one of the most experienced and inspiring people I’ve ever met. I’m forever grateful to her for everything I’ve learned from her guidance and example. In short: a challenging, inspiring, and deeply rewarding place to grow. ❤️

Cons

It’s a fast-paced environment with high expectations, which can feel intense at times. But if you’re eager to learn, grow quickly, and challenge yourself, it’s an amazing place to be.

Pros

Great office, beautifully done. Dogs in office - always puts a smile on peoples faces. Great discount Good location in London.

Cons

Completely toxic environment. All employees are working at 110% (or more) of their capacity, and are BROKEN. The Founder and CEO don't care, as long as the company is growing. If you bring an issue to the senior leaders, they would tell you to find a solution, and then scream at you when it didn't go the way they thought it should go. On the outside, Oner looks like a great company to work for, but don't be fooled. Yes the team building days are a bonus, yes we all get to rep the brand, but the founder has her favourites, and promotes them before everyone else, which is a) highly unprofessional, and b) unfair on everyone else who has worked their nuts off, and once she decides she doesn't like someone, (because they may have spoken up about a problem) they're got rid of. Seniors seem to mirror her behaviour which contributes to an even more toxic work environment. She's made some bold claims about the Oner culture and empowering women online, but this is not the case behind the scenes. Avoid like the plague.

We are proud of many things at Oner, including our passionate team, beautiful office, and the moments we share together.
