Pros

I worked with nice people

Cons

Zero transparency. The leadership made everyone think the company is in a great situation, but then, booked a “2023 Kickoff” meeting with the entire company and announced the layoffs. 40% of the employees got fired. They decided to do it right before Christmas, on a Friday, and did not give any information about the severance package until after 5pm (the “Kickoff” meeting was at 10am). People were waiting for long hours until they got the severance info and then had no one to speak to for the entire weekend. Some people were on family leave, and discovered they were fired only because their laptops got wiped out or a team member messaged them about the layoffs. NO ONE from management / HR bothered to call and notify them. The company kept hiring until the very last moment. A number of employees joined a few days before the layoffs and got fired!!!!! The bare minimum is to freeze hiring. They should have done better than that. Also, the severance package was extremely lame. Not sure I’m allowed to write any details so I’ll just say it was a joke, not giving people any time to land on their feet.

Pros

People you work with are great

Cons

Executive management is terrible. Zero accountability. Avoid at all costs. You will be given zero authority but made to own the fallout of executives' bad decisions. Seriously, avoid this company and Care Access if you value your sanity. Benefits are also a race to the bottom. They keep stripping them away because "we found we were above industry standard". Because who wants to do more than the minimum, am I right?
