Pros

Pros This is a role that is 100% in the office so you are able to meet a lot of great people and work side by side with them. I have made a lot of awesome relationships with my coworkers, which is what I was looking for. They do hire a lot of people throughout the year, just a non-stop hiring company. It’s ok because I do see a lot of individuals get promoted to management. The company does have turnover but it isnt uncommon for a role like this. Onto the job itself, you are on the phones for 100% of your day minus your 1 hour lunch + personal time. You are answering phone calls with individuals that already have a Medicare Advantage plan and trying to see if you can get them more benefits than what they are currently receiving. If you aren't taking inbounds then you are making outbounds (I typically make about 70-100 per day). If you accept this role, you need to want to be on the phones all day and working towards something. Whether you want to apply to be a manager around the year mark or if you are just trying to get good experience grinding it out on the phones, you need to have the reasons why you are coming into this role. I didn't have any sales experience prior to this so it is nice to come into a company that would train me. The job is a grind but it has taught me the skills that I needed to be successful in sales for my future. I don't participate in many events but there are different sporting teams and afterwork activities that happen to get everyone in the company involved. Fun games and events that happen typically monthly too.

Cons

Like I said above you are on the phones all day, which can be repetitive at times. Like any job though, there are days when you don't want to come in and do the work. The calls are back-to-back to back too, so you need to be able to leave the past in the past and move forward. I have learned a lot from this process.

Pros

Strong company culture focused on taking care of employees and clients. Excellent place to work, as long as you're willing to put in the time and effort.

Cons

Not necessarily a con. Still a relatively young, and growing firm that is building out structure.

Pros

The people you meet while working at OneDigital are genuinely great, and I’ve formed several lasting friendships during my time there.

Cons

Employees are often treated as numbers rather than individuals, with performance measured by metrics that are frequently outside of their control. Upper management regularly sets or changes performance expectations without effectively communicating those changes to frontline agents, making it difficult to meet evolving standards. Employees are also closely monitored, including being timed when using the restroom. Arriving even one minute late can result in a write-up, while upper management is often able to arrive 5-10 minutes late without consequence. During peak seasons, employees are expected to work 10-hour shifts, six days a week. When business slows, the office closes for two weeks, leaving hourly employees without pay. While there is an opportunity to earn back some of that lost income by working additional hours during peak season, it is not guaranteed. Overall, there is a noticeable disconnect between upper management and the day-to-day realities of the job. Many decisions and expectations do not reflect the challenges employees face in the current market, leaving staff feeling unsupported and undervalued.
