Pros

Reduced summer hours are nice one a year

Cons

There are too many cons to list here. Be prepared to be taken advantage of, lied to, and gaslit by management, upper management if you have the audacity to ask for a career path or ways to work towards a promotion. I asked these questions and was never treated the same, was told that they want to "hire people not obsessed with money" and was even reprimanded for skipping a management level during an "open forum" meeting. Expect management to be offline during the work day and online at 3am sending you high priority emails, and expect to be asked to work outside normal work hours. Be prepared for management to not help or answer any questions, and instead be told to figure it out yourself. Be prepared for management to ignore emails from difficult clients, and leave you to deal with the fallout in meetings. There is great work/life balance opportunities for employees with children (unofficial reduced hours, being able to take meetings at children's parks, blocking off all time on calendars due to children, etc.), but if you are not a parent you are treated as if there is so reason to want the same treatment. Being a high performer means nothing to this company if you aren't a mother, and you will be punished for good performance by being thrown more work and given more projects because you "have time".

Pros

Strong company culture focused on taking care of employees and clients. Excellent place to work, as long as you're willing to put in the time and effort.

Cons

Not necessarily a con. Still a relatively young, and growing firm that is building out structure.

Pros

The people you meet who do the same thing as you and 10% of the sales managers are great and actually normal

Cons

Pay is terrible. In the interview they make it seem like you will be making $50k+ after you close some calls but it takes 1.5+, probably 2+ years to even get a $1 raise based on sales. You get 6 hours of PTO a month which is not even a full day and they fire people who go over. They expect you to dial with no breaks in between dials for 8 hours if you do not close your inbounds, which are all based on luck. The role requires minimal selling skills and success is 80% based on luck and who you get on the phone which is all based on a queue. If you do not convert these the inbound leads they have you dial all day and the #s you dial, probably 30 other agents have dialed already that same day. Feel bad for the people who are in their CRM because they get double digit calls each day from us. Oh yeah, and your bathroom breaks are timed.
