Pros

OWD’s Ontario facility is a great place to work at for those who enjoy working hard and doing different types of jobs. Management here is understanding and wants to help and work with employees who do good work and have a great attitude. Everyday can be completely different from the previous; one day you may be picking and packing, while the next you are receiving. Management actively tries to move around employees to help prevent them from burning out doing only one job. The company does a great job of trying to make to employees voices feel heard. Everyday each department has a huddle up meeting where employees can ask questions and voice concerns that they have. Overall, I highly recommend working for this company.

Cons

I did not see any when I was there.

Pros

-flexible work hours -> but creates strong work ethic on early/long shifts -multifaceted job -> there’s always new challenges arising -staying fit -> this is a great job for athletic folks or those who want to get their steps in!! -fairly mentally stimulating manual labor job -> while there is a lot of necessary repetition in your work day, there’s also the opportunity to spend your day more or less to yourself. While teamwork and communication is crucial to working at OWD, I felt that it was nice to spend my day fulfilling orders, sort of like an 8hr treasure hunt. I enjoyed pushing myself to be nimble!

Cons

-I’m from the LA area but live pretty far away from the warehouse location itself. —> so this job would be great for people who live in San Bernardino, Redlands, Ontario etc. that area -gets warm, so dress appropriately for all day activity -lots of walking and both decent physical and mental agility is needed
