Pros

absolutely nothing (also, notice how the only good reviews are from current employees? Its because they force employees to leave good reviews).

Cons

BEWARE, this is an absolute scam. Most people lose money, work 6-7 days a week, 60+ hours a week. If you currently work there, please look online and see how companies like these ruin people's lives. NO PROFESSIONAL JOB will EVER make you work 7 days a week and 60 plus hours... NONE. Please get yourself an entry level marketing job at a real company who provides health insurance, BREAKS, and only working 5 days a week (doesn't a whole weekend sound nice?!) Do not waste your time / money / energy on this company or any other companies like this. I will be reporting this company to glassdoor in hopes this company will be banned from this website. Total scam. Please always always remember to look up reviews before you start working for a company!!

We are sorry that you have a misunderstanding of our team at One Up Inc. We would like to address your false claims. Our company is not a MLM company. We operate legally and ethically in the state of California. We are also located in Lakewood, not Los Angeles. I believe you have the wrong company. We are very proud of the team we have built and the service that we provide to our clients, and we are honest about what we do here at One Up and with every applicant we interview. We offer a variety of compensation plans that are discussed with each applicant during their interview process. Therefore, there should be no confusion with compensation or hours worked after the interview. We take satisfaction in the fact that we offer training in all sides of business, including sales on the front end and management and leadership on the back end. We are sorry our opportunities did not align with your career goals.

Pros

Management team was very nice and $$$ bonuses for new-hires were a nice incentive. That's pretty much it.

Cons

1)If you are o.k. with standing in the parking lot of a 99 Cent store in bad neighborhoods for 8 hours by yourself trying to get people to sign up for a free cell-phone then this is for you! If not, don't waste your time. They make it seem like they have all these opportunities for advancement and that you only have to be in the entry-level for 1-2 months until you get "promoted" to a "management" position, but once you get promoted you are still required to stand outside 99-cent stores and Food4Less's daily, just with a new title. It is a complete waste of time. 2)The hours are ridiculous; they expect you to work 6-days a week, 10-12 hours per day and you're not even guaranteed pay. No professional role will ever require you to work 60-70 hours per week without proper compensation and/or overtime pay. Not to mention, they don't even pay you an hourly rate. There's no base-pay so you can work an entire 10-12 hour day and make NO money if you weren't able to sign anyone up for a free phone (which isn't as easy as it sounds). How is that even legal? Pretty sure this is an MLM scheme.
