Pros
The best thing about OTI is its people. OTI has an exceptional group of people working for them. Many of the employees have been there for years, they are a warm and quietly friendly lot.
Everyone there takes their work very seriously, and they expect quality work. This isn't the place to show up, run down the clock and go home. That said, they have an "everyone pitches in" attitude so you'll find plenty of helping hands and the managers have your best interests at heart so you can count on them to go to bat for you. You don't find that kind of leadership often, if ever.
The owners are generous, professional, and polite. They've established a few fun (if sometimes a bit quirky) company traditions that speak to their desire to create a welcoming atmosphere. They've also firmly established a very healthy respect for work-life balance. If HR catches you working late she will strongly encourage you to go home. ;)
If you're looking for somewhere to settle in and stay awhile this is the place. You won't regret the opportunity to work with and get to know this group of hardworking folks.
Cons
It's a very quiet office. For the more introverted among us it can be a bit difficult to get to know people, especially if you don't work with them directly. It's a great place for those new to the workforce to hone their skills but the work can be a bit repetitive after a while. There isn't much room for upward mobility (unless someone leaves) but management does their best to make sure you're happy with your workload and opportunities.
