Pros

Work you care about. Nice team members.

Cons

You will be overworked and never get a genuine word of thanks for everything you are doing. You will hear in meetings that the company is growing but no, people just quit/get fired/laid off non stop. Colleagues disappear overnight and no one will say anything. People quit because they can't take it anymore and/or get laid off all the time. Then you're just told they're no longer with the company but YOU get to take on their responsibilities with no increase in salary. Then when you're doing the job of 3 people and the quality of your work starts to suffer, you get berated for not being on top of everything. The CEO is an egomaniac micromanager who has to have everything his way and control everything. MAJOR FOUNDERS SYNDROME! And everything is focused on his religion. He brings in people from his religion to talk to us all the time, but the way he treats people makes staff not ever be interested in religion. You will also be discouraged from taking a vacation. There is a lot of outsourcing to cheap workers overseas and that makes the US staff feel their jobs will disappear and you have to be a workaholic and available 24/7. When people say they are overworked and don't want to get emails all night and on the weekend, it's justified by saying the overseas workers are on a different time zone.

Pros

- Being a smaller company, employees are given independence to voice new ideas and try new things. Managers are always there if someone wants help and it really is a great company in terms of giving employees independence and not micro-managing. - The company provides lunches daily for all team members as well as a full kitchen stocked with many healthy snacks and drinks - The company has many different offices around the world including California and Utah in the US, Toranto and Victoria in Canada, as well as Armenia and Guatemala. While almost all team members never change offices indefinetly, some work in different offices for a week or so and its always fun having departments with team members from different backgrounds. - One Planet provides 5-10 service days (paid days off) per year where employees are encouraged but not required to do volunteer work. I think most people love to give back to others when they can and these are always a great oportunity. This is in addition to a conventional PTO system of 15 days off plus holidays. - The company has two company parties a year with one being near the end of the summer and the second being a holiday party to end the year.

Cons

- The 15 PTO days off a year does not include sick days. - In the past if Christmas Eve or New Years Eve falls on a weekday, it has been a "manditory" pto day. People have the option to work those days, if they dont want to use their PTO, but it would be nice if they were just holidays.

None to mention based on my experience.

Cons

Deeply unorganized company with systemic ethical and behavioral issues embedded within the company culture.
