Pros
Good recruiters , decent salary
Cons
stressful time as worked with one of the core teams. They do not believe in knowledge transfer or helpful in any sense after you join the team. They expect to deliver even without any training. One training is provided which is not at all related to actual work. There is proper hierarchy hence if coming from open culture, it will be hard to adjust. When asked questions regarding work, usually answered with sarcastic comments " you don't know this thing" , "we hired you as senior you don't know this much" the so called mentor assigned don't know how to speak to people they are rude and mostly of no help - I was literally called " pagal" when asked questions to her. Manager is just micro managing without any help. They will try to warn you that they can terminate your employment if they don't find your performance as per them even without any training you are expected to work long hours. Most of work is on legacy systems will not help you build any expertise or in career growth. When complained about lack of training it is often taken as an excuse. this was my experience in team I was assigned to might be different experience for others. Some of the team members were very helpful but we're scolded by lead as according to him only mentors should clear doubts. If lead wants to communicate something he will do indirectly for no reason by talking to mentor ( a tag along person with absolutely no help). There is proper boss culture here. Micromanagement to its peak. And suggestions for mentor get into softskill training, you really need to understand how to talk. My tenure was stressful and depressing .
