They will low ball you because they know they can especially if it’s your first job. They will sell it like the treatment and overflowing tasks will be worth it because you gain “experience” when they are actually “borderline” exploit you for your naivety to accept low pay and little to, maybe even for some, no benefits. The higher ups are really willing to throw you under the bus if they know you’ll take it because you’re new or you’re not matapang/stern even when it’s their fault for not letting you know how certain things are done but let’s be honest there’s no proper system and navigation in this company. Don’t bother thinking you’ll be networking a lot during your stay that much because you’ll be too busy doing too many tasks that likely go beyond your pay grade, job description, and work hours.
