Pros

They could use some pros.

Cons

If you are looking to begin a career in marketing or advertising, be warned that this isn’t where you should start. Especially, after putting in the hard work for a degree. From the moment you walk in, you can tell it’s bizarre; there’s barely anywhere to sit, the music is blasting (a hit or miss for potential employees) and there’s not even a water fountain or coffee maker. It’s not inviting at all. Other companies that exist in this building are Ace, Be Bold, Tipping Point and a couple of others. Please be aware that ALL the companies in this building are extremely greedy, money-hungry, deceiving and misleading. They will try and lure you in with their backstories of how they rose to the top with patience and determination. They will try and brainwash you into thinking you’ll be making over $100,000 in about a year or two...that is if you want to stand out on street corners like an idiot for 12 hours a day, 6 days a week hoping to scrape whatever money you can from customers. If it was that easy, everyone would do it, right? There was a “promotion” the first week I started and management had said this man was with the company for 18 months I believe and was now running his own campaign. Yet, I saw pictures on social media of this man with management dated back to 2015 which, if I’m correct, is roughly 48 months- another Red Flag. Businessmen will try to rob, cheat and steal from you all your life but with experiences like this, we hopefully become wiser. I couldn’t believe I became that person who stops and bothers people on the street. If you don’t make at least one sale, the day is pretty much wasted and you just worked countless hours bothering New Yorkers for $35. Management will be nice to you in the beginning and listen to your thoughts but then start to get a little nastier once you get comfortable...believe me. They make money off of your sales, so the better you do, they wealthier they get. There wasn’t even a stub or any record that came with my check to calculate my sales and earnings. Bottom line, these companies are a joke and do not waste your time with these fools. They should really be shut down for abusing so many labor laws.

Pros

1) People are friendly enough 2) They had an old NES! 3) Office was decent enough 4) They'll get you on their sales pitch like they did with me and try to butter you up 5) You'll learn the inner workings of a white collar criminal

Cons

It's purely direct marketing sales scam based on a pyramid scheme. I went into this thinking it would be a great opportunity to earn some money and help my family with our debts. That was not the case at all. As soon as I realized what this was, I was immediately out of it. I couldn't even pitch my speech that I was written because I didn't believe in what I was saying, mostly because it wasn't written by me. Long story short, I was being asked to sacrifice my integrity to lie to people's faces, the same ones I care about genuinely making happy, about services and charities that they didn't need or weren't even real. I didn't even pitch my whole time there. By the time my manager came by and told me that I should work or that I should leave, I left. Went home after only 3 hours in.
