Pros

- Decent health benefits. - Good Company events, when/if they happen. - Personal private office space.

Cons

- Recently hired Infrastructure VP is extremely involved to the point of micromanagement. His primary goal seems to be cost-cutting by reducing headcount and redistributing work to already overloaded remaining staff. His communication style and approach to task assignments are frequently unprofessional and, at times, disrespectful toward employees. - Leadership overall is poor, with a strong cultural bias in the technology department, making it difficult for others to thrive or feel included. - Advancing your career in technology is extremely difficult. Even when promotions are discussed or promised, whether for yourself or your team, they never come through, as all decisions are tightly controlled by the VP with little transparency or follow-through. - A concerning example of toxic leadership and biased culture, includes the hiring of a non-technical contractor family member into a technical full-time role, due to the contractor’s personal connections within the company. - RTO policy is a joke. While mandatory, several employees living close to the office never show up, highlighting a lack of oversight.

Pros

There are some good people at this company. Hybrid 2 days in the office if you live near the office, but can work fully remote if you’re not near an office. Also, free lunch when in the office.

Cons

A once great company has turned into something I don’t recognize anymore. They’ve let go long many tenured employees that have made employees scared of losing their jobs. Great talent eventually leave once they see how awful the Leadership is and how unorganized this company is. They make drastic changes for the sake of change. They are scared of clients and do not back their employees. The CEO seems clueless to what’s going on within the company. Leadership hire friends for other leadership roles and they are not trained on processes or how things work. Teams are not aligned, people are unprofessional, it’s very chaotic, there’s too many chefs in the kitchen, and leadership waste time with useless meetings that take you away from your work. We seem to have many job openings that look great but trust me, it’s not worth it. I’ve had many people ask me about Onbe because they are thinking of applying and I tell them not to. So please don’t waste your time. Most people here are actively looking for new jobs.
