Pros

- Above average salary for role - Free lunches if you like meal deal sandwiches

Cons

- Has been acquired by Costar, it was a far more pleasant place to work before this - 5 days in office - Their idea of flexibility is to give 5 WFH days you can book for the entire year - In response to employees asking for better flexibility, upper management called us selfish - Sick days were reduced to 5 for the year - Poor planning causes a lot of work to be requested with an unfeasible deadline - Management tend to forget all of the last minute requests they've made and are then unhappy when the tasks you had to put on hold are not finished - Certain people thrive when their work is mediocre at best. While a lot of good workers are overlooked - Fear culture - Redundancies since the Costar acquisition - Confusing promotions - Upper management like to walk around to see if people are working - Took away a birthday leave day and replaced it with a birthday lunch. Before any of these lunches actually happened they replaced them with the cliché quarterly pizza party. None of these actually ever happened. Not a huge complaint but they basically took away a leave day for nothing

Pros

- Good salary (although this can start to feel like a trap) - Good annual leave - 28 days - Finish (escape) at 5pm

Cons

- A large favouritism culture within the company/ the C-suite, especially the COO/Head of Sales and Marketing, has their favourite and these people are massively prioritised and treated differently to everyone else. - Used to be a lovely company with a brilliant culture, this has died since CoStar takeover and new office - hardly anyone speaks and everyone looks miserable to be there. Sadly most of the personality and culture has been sucked out of the company and the lovely people who work there. - No flexibility (well unless you count 5 wfh days per year). A culture of unless you’re being watched working they don’t trust you to be working. Ultimately reducing people’s enthusiasm and productivity. - They conduct exit interviews as a tick box exercise but I was told during this process that they aren’t seen by anyone in the UK and therefore they don’t ever hear anyone’s honest feedback and no action is taken to improve the experience for those left - Removed bonuses for new hires - Happy to fudge externally facing numbers to prioritise the message they want to get out there, America is happier to deal with the consequences with legal power if they get caught for something not being accurately represented than to represent something honestly.
